All weekend there will be a succession of different events around the theme of wine: rambles in the vineyards, auction sale, the winemakers’ evening with a vertical wine tasting accompanied by special dishes (« Dîner découverte 12 plats 12 vins »), and on Sunday, the Saumur Wine Market.

More than 6,000 people attended the third Saumur Wine Market – a great day out for all the family, with special events and the chance to find out about our wines. The Syndicat Viticole des Côtes de Saumur, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Saumur Town Council have got together to make the first weekend in September an annual celebration of our wines, right in the heart of Saumur.
